Does a woman have a right to choose? Yes. Absolutely Yes! A woman does have a right to choose, but choose what. God gave us free will and we can choose whatever we want. But we ought to choose from among good, not evil choices. Because as God said:

“Here, then, I have today set before you life and prosperity, death and doom."

If you obey the commandments of the LORD, your God, which I enjoin on you today, loving him, and walking in his ways, and keeping his commandments, statutes and decrees, you will live and grow numerous, and the LORD, your God, will bless you in the land you are entering to occupy.

If, however, you turn away your hearts and will not listen, but are led astray and adore and serve other gods, I tell you now that you will certainly perish; you will not have a long life on the land which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and occupy.

I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live” Deuteronomy 30:15-19

Over the past twenty-three and a half years, over 53 million choices have been made in favor of death/curse. Is there any wonder that our country is in the shape it’s in. But it is not too late for us, for America. We must start making better choices. We need to start choosing life/blessing. If we do then America can again start to receive God’s blessing.

“and if my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my presence and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and revive their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

But not only do we have to turn away from our evil ways, we also need to pray and fast. Only through prayer and fasting are we to save our country from the path of destruction that we are currently on.

We live in a society that is all about me, me, me. What’s in it for me? I put a challenge to all American. Let’s start to live righteous lives, with honor and good character.

When asked of Jesus, which was the greatest commandment, Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Mathew 22:37-40

When a mother aborts her child, who is she loving most, God, the child, or herself? If we but put God first in all we do, everything else will fall into place. If we love God above all else, we will obey Him when He says, “Thou shall not kill.” We will stop being selfish and stop thinking about just ourselves.

Those that say a woman should have a choice about their reproductive health are partly right. They just left out the word procreative. Procreative reproductive health means she won't harm her body or her baby with invasive surgery and chemicals which lead to consequences that could deter her procreative rights. So, wise choices must be made. But the time to make those choices is before we have sex.

Even in the instances of forced sexual encounters a woman’s procreative reproductive health must be considered, even for minors. This is why the precious jewel of procreativity is so valuable. We must protect our procreative sexuality!

Many people know that the only means of avoiding pregnancy 100% is abstinence. Once someone makes a decision to same sex, they have already made their choice regarding their reproductive health. If a pregnancy results from that choice it’s too late to choose if you want to be a mother. Once pregnant, a woman is already a mother and a man is already a father. Now the only choice left is whether to kill the baby or give him/her life. “Choose life that you and your descendants may live.” Deut. 30:19
