Protestors and advocates picket ouside Planned Parenthood

  EUGENE, Ore. – A series of undercover videos claiming Planned Parenthood sells aborted fetal body parts has inspired a rash of protests across the country, including one in Eugene on Saturday.

At the Planned Parenthood office in Glenwood, a mix of pro-life protestors and Planned Parenthood advocates all converged on the sidewalk on Franklin Boulevard.

Signs, pamphlets, and banners lined the Franklin Boulevard sidewalk Saturday. They were there to protest Planned Parenthood’s abortion practices.

“Why does the child have to pay for the crimes of the father? That’s not the way it should be,” said Jenn Perry, a 40 Days for Life coordinator.

Perry said that she was gang-raped when she was 16 and was forced to have an abortion. She is now an anti-abortion advocate and wears a pin with the name of her aborted baby, Sarah.

"For my child, Sarah, who I aborted, was she broken into pieces and laughed about? Oh, it’s a girl,” Perry said.
