I had an abortion because I couldn't see myself having a baby in nine months. During the abortion procedure I felt immediate sadness, a longing for my lost child, and an immense amount of pain.
Immediately after the abortion I felt that the beauty of the world had been sucked out of me. As time went on after the abortion I felt and experienced depression, regret, loss, and a need to be forgiven by myself and my God.
I found help and forgiveness through the power of Christ and my heart.
