Sarah's 2012 March for Life Testimony

I am a woman who is silent no more because I have struggled with anxiety and depression ever since.  I chose to have an abortion because my boyfriend wanted me to and I did not think that I was capable of loving somebody else. I was scared and very young.

The nurses and doctor at the abortion clinic led me to believe my abortion would be a light procedure. The medication I was given to kill my baby is called R-U 480. I was told the “light procedure” would be like a period but the pain I went though felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly. With the amount of blood that left my body that evening I could have died and should have been admitted to the hospital.

My decision lead my life down a road of death; one that I never imagined myself going  I slowly began to forgive myself and started seeking help and healing from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

During my therapy with the Lord he sent some really amazing people in my life who led me to Rachel’s Vineyard. Rachel’s Vineyard helped me realize that not only am I loved, but there are people in this world who are self-less and would be honored to adopt and give a baby all of their unconditional love.

Abortion is psychologically traumatizing on a woman's mind, leading to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, lack of confidence and even suicide.  So when you are feeling alone think of this scripture Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee; yes, I will help thee; yes I will uphold thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
