I had three abortions when I was a teenager during a phase of drug use in my life. I didn't have regrets that I was able to face until ten years later. It was still yet another 21 years after that I started the road to healing and accepting the fact that I actually murdered my babies.
I experienced spiritual healing in front of my local Planned Parenthood on 8/21/2015 during my first attended protest. An older gentleman crossed the street, bee-lined towards me, and asked if I had been hurt by abortion. I started to cry, and he held out his hand and prayed over me, saying, "God forgives you. You are forgiven." He said that God interrupted his prayer during protest, and it was put on his heart to share God's message for me. I found it ironic that it was in front of Planned Parenthood that I broke down and accepted God's forgiveness and started my road to healing.
It was something bad, but it changed around towards God's good. I learned that day that God does hear my prayers, and when I bow my head and pray He hears me. He loves me, and He forgives me. Abortion is my fight now and I want to yell it to the world that WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO! I refuse to be SILENT!
