Open Our Doors

At 17 I had an abortion that I did not want.  I was manipulated by my 24-year-old boyfriend, who my family really liked.  I came from a very Catholic family, and it was taboo to discuss sex. I wanted to keep my baby and tell my parents, but I was scared and embarrassed. I only had my boyfriend at the time, deciding my fate.

I spent years missing my child until I went to a healing mass and cried asking for forgiveness. Since that day I know God felt my pain and forgave me. I hope to reach out and save a woman from doing this, but if we cannot have a place to help women keep their child or let them know they can get help, then how can we end abortion?  To talk about pro life is one thing, but how do we open our doors to help women and men who want to keep their child?

I AM SILENT NO MORE! Let's find places and open our own doors to people when need help, and so they can tell their families.  Let's put a plan in action to actually help!
