I changed my mind while on the table

I was in a marriage that was on the rocks and I became hysterical when I found out I was pregnant. I had been in a psychiatric ward for depression just before I got pregnant and was emotionally fragile. It was my husband's baby. I felt unable to take care of a new baby with two little ones at home already.

[It was] brutal! I changed my mind while on the table and said "Thou shalt NOT KILL." The nurse said, "We're not killing anything," and they took my five month fetus.

My husband told me that it was the last straw and that he didn't love me anymore and wanted a divorce.

Talked with a minister years later which helped. I also confessed it as sin to God, accepted Jesus into my heart and accepted his forgiveness.

My husband took my children after a slight accident my son had, then went to court to try to prove me an incompetent mother. Then I lost my confidence and agreed they should live with him, so I ended up alone.

This part of my life was a real horror show.
