Never Had a Chance

I had too many. It was like my birth control. I was raped so many times. My life was a mess.

It wasn't that I wanted my life to be this way, but I could not find a way out. I worked in a bar as a server. The outfit was a male magnet. I had 20 men a night try to get me into bed. I had a small child at home, and I had to make a lot of money. Every night when leaving the bar (lounge), I had men follow me. I was told I was the most beautiful women they had ever seen. I needed to hear that. My dad treated me so badly, told me I was no good and never would amount to anything. I made sure that I would. So I sold my body, slept with any man I could.

I knew it was bad was when the abortions added up. I had to go back to my childhood to find out why I did what I did. I remember having sex before the first grade. I felt sick. The dress I wore the first day of school was the dress I remember sitting on the chair next to the bed where I had sex with the boy next door. Having that in my head put me right in the hospital.

I would like to share my story not only to help with my pain, but maybe to help someone else change their life, so they will not have to cry for the rest of their lives about their unborn children that never had a chance.
