I had two abortions when I was in my 20's. I felt that it was the only option I had in both situations. I have always regretted both decisions as soon as the abortions were performed.

I became extremely depressed and had horrible nightmares, especially around the anniversary dates. I dealt with this depression for many, many years until I learned about a healing program through a friend from my church.

After attending this program, I no longer dreaded the anniversary dates and rarely do I feel unforgivable anymore. I still have my moments, occasionally; however, 99% of the time I no longer harp on it or belittle myself. I treasure the healing I received from the retreat I attended, and that's why I am silent no more!
