Hi, my name is Alec, and I would first like to state that I am a staunch supporter of the RIGHT TO LIFE for ALL.

I will give my testimony of why I am adamant on my stance against the killing of a fetus by the so called method of abortion. In 1998, I was married, and my wife of eight years and I had two beautiful children. At the time the ages of our children were five and eight years old. My wife became pregnant and said that it would be hard financially for another child. We were struggling to make ends meet.  My wife wanted to abort the pregnancy, but I was against it. My wife contacted Planned Parenthood of Knoxville, TN for a consultation.  Unbeknownst to me there were no men allowed in the clinic. In addition, there was no consultation for options.

My wife and I arrived at the Planned Parenthood Clinic, and I walked into the office with my wife.  I was quickly ushered out of the foyer by an armed security guard. I was not allowed to even speak with my wife. I banged on the door to get her attention, but I was told I would be arrested and had to stay 100 feet from the office. The 100 feet was at the street. I had no idea that this could happen! Needless to say, you have heard the rest.

I lost hope in my wife that day—she changed. She was miserable and always had painful menstrual cramps as a result afterward. We divorced. I couldn't live with the fact that I was so naive in the situation.
