The Road of Destruction

When I was eighteen I had an abortion because I felt lonely, ashamed, and afraid. That decision led my inner self down a road of destruction.

I was drowning in a pool of depression and low self-esteem and battled with suicidal thoughts, which were hidden behind a smile that was hard to break, because my entire makeup was fake.

Until, one day, I couldn't carry my inner emotions, and I begged God to take my life. But instead He began to show me in His light, my true identity and how my decision didn't take away His love for me.

I am able to receive God's forgiveness, and I finally feel free from the shame and guilt that was bottled inside of me. And that's why I am silent no more!
