I was very affected by the presence of other women and men who had experienced abortions, and felt validated when they expressed their own pain.

God's Work
"The thought never crossed my mind that there was a tiny life growing inside me, and the clinic employees never referred to my child as a baby.  I have vague details of the actual procedure, but I remember being anxious to get back to life. Over the next couple years, I developed depression that was only exaggerated by my alcohol consumption."

A crown of glory, the oil of joy, and a garment of praise may be my new outerwear, but I thank God that from the ashes, mourning, and despair of my story I have capacity to personally connect with other individuals who have their own abortion experiences.
I am ecstatic that you are considering joining or already have joined us on this journey of unconditional love and forgiveness that leads to healing and restoration.  The relief that comes from mourning the loss of our unborn child(ren) may seem undeserved, but by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus, we have been given free and unmerited favor--power to move forward with our lives, filled with the joy that only comes from Him, and not from things of this world.

By remaining silent about our loss and stuffing the hurt, we only bring more trauma upon ourselves; receiving forgiveness, renewal, and wholeness in Christ is God’s plan to propel us forward!  Sharing the story of our poor choice(s) that ended in death actually brings life, both to ourselves and the ones we touch.

The journey starts with healing, but we magnify our Savior when we are…Silent No More!
