It's been over 20 years and the sadness and emptiness never leaves you! I opened up to my niece about my experience when she came to me first before telling her parents about her pregnancy. I told her, “Take it from me, you'll regret it for the rest of your life!” Her parents drove her to the abortion clinic, and she decided to have the baby. Her baby is almost three years old now and has been a blessing in her, her family and my life! I felt it came in full circle, even helping one person from the mistake of abortion. And that's why I am silent no more!
