I had an abortion because inside me I was not aware that I was a person of any dignity. I was living like an animal.

The abortion experience made me realize that, although on the outside I was pretending to be indifferent, on the inside there was pain. It made me realize that I was lying to myself.

After my abortion, I abused myself more in every area, and I could not be happy with anyone. Basically, I wanted to die and be where my children were.

I found help through Rachel's Vineyard. For the first time in my life, I met God, who didn't judge me. He set me free.

That's why I am silent no more. I use every opportunity to speak openly about what abortion is like and how wonderfully God has intervened in my life.
