RICHMOND, Va. -- Hundreds of protesters gathered outside a Richmond Planned Parenthood clinic in Richmond Saturday afternoon.

The demonstration was just one of many that happened across the nation aimed at defunding the healthcare provider.

Protesters said they were responding to several videos they believe show Planned Parenthood leaders in some states discussing the sale of fetal tissue.

Those videos have already led to funding being pulled from Planned Parenthood centers in three states.

One organizer said the videos served as a painful reminder for many women who have had an abortion.

“I’m woman who’s experienced two abortions and it was like being re-traumatized,” Leslie Blackwell said. “I had to look at those videos like everyone else, one out of three of us have experienced abortion. It was like a scab being cut off again."
