My name is Elaine, and I live in a little town in Saskatchewan, Canada. I lived with the pain and dysfunction of an abortion decision for over 10 years. That dysfunction included improper bonding with my children, lack of confidence in parenting, addictions, lack of trust in relationships, and trouble in my marriage.
My advice to you would be: “Don’t put off the choice to see if an abortion has robbed fullness of life from you’”. There is freedom, hope, fullness of life after an abortion, and more love and forgiveness than you can imagine.
My Name is Melody and I live on a farm by a small town called Elfros. Abortion robbed my Joy and left me broken into a life with Alcohol and drugs to numb the grief and Pain I felt inside.
It wasn’t until I dealt with the realization of the truth that I began to heal and get my life back. I needed to ask for forgiveness from God and ask my children in Heaven to forgive me. I also needed to forgive myself. I attended Rachel’s Vineyard healing retreat to help with the healing and grief that I was experiencing.
It wasn’t till after that, I began to speak out in Public because I wanted to be a voice for those who were hurting in silence and a voice for my children who never got a chance to fulfill their purpose.
One of my favorite scripture’s is Proverbs 31:8-9 "Speak out on behalf of the voiceless,
and for the rights of all who are vulnerable. Speak out in order to judge with righteousness and to defend the needy and the poor."
There is healing after abortion, It’s a journey of Love and reconciliation to God who is Love and Mercy.
