Hello fight-for-life warriors!! My name is Corrine Daniele, I stand before you as a woman who ended the lives of five of my children through abortion. I am incredibly grateful and honored to be here to pray, share, and fight peacefully, to help save the lives of our nation’s abortion-threatened little ones.

My preborn children died from abortion from 1973 to 1978, and without my parents ever having knowledge of what I was going through from my pre-teens into my early twenties. I bore deep, secret, and painful emotional scars attributed to my age 10 molestation by a cousin’s friend, rape at age 13 by our local pool lifeguard; and a 2½ year long, emotionally imprisoning child-rape relationship with my employer in his 40s; who then paid for three of my minor-obtained, and thus illegal abortions in Washington DC. 

Healthy communication with my parents was hampered by fear stemming from my father’s alcohol-infused anger, which increased my mother’s challenges while caring for her seven children. With each pregnancy, I lacked fetal development information that would have surely prompted me to NOT choose abortion. A big shout out to our sonogram ministries!

I was significantly influenced by my 8th grade, public school sex-education program taught in a mixed boy-girl class. While male and female reproductive anatomy charts were used while describing sexual intercourse, pregnancy was referred to as a “common result” of intercourse. Strangely… we never saw illustrative charts of a developing baby. Birth control methods for the boys and girls were introduced with caveat instructions for unexplained nausea, e.g., “See your guidance counselor right away.” 

While using abortion as a form of birth control… thinking each time that I would never get pregnant again… my conscience constantly bothered me, having been taught that abortion kills a baby. I wanted to permanently silence that internal voice, so I asked the clinician if I could see the “pregnancy tissue” of my fifth, 11½ week gestation abortion. The terrifying moment of truth came when I was shown my tiny child’s body in a napkin of carnage.

By March 1984, I was grieving healthily over the unnecessary, painful deaths of my preborn children, and was finally healed from addictions, emotional, and physical consequences including infertility, nicotine, alcohol, and eating disorders. I was also newly grateful that I didn’t die from an age 20 stroke… described as a potential abortion complication by health professionals, which occurred soon after my 4th abortion’s hemorrhage complication.

Mom and I were blessed in 2019 when the true-to-life abortion exposure film Unplanned was released. Our relationship was already beautiful and strong, but I thought it might bring more closure regarding our painful years of emotional separation. She was always on the pro-life, front lines of prayer against abortion facilitators and against the humanist grounded sex-ed programs that influenced me.

During my individual ministry encounters, and in our pregnancy help center’s post-abortion team-led meetings from1984 through 2001, physical and emotional miracles occurred for many women prayed for. Especially, for those who were infertile… as I was before we conceived a son, the same day our pastor prayed for me. God graciously gifted us with 6 more beautiful children.

Encouragingly, many women on their healing journey, carry a healing gift…for other women who have had an abortion. I encourage all others to desire and rewardingly walk in it. My most stunning experience while being used by God for healing was in the year 2000, when I prayed a short simple prayer for a woman I knew at a funeral, who was in her 14th year of infertility. Six weeks later, she called to report “I’M PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!” 

For this, and every healing miracle, physical and emotional experienced while waiting to see our little ones in heaven, we THANK and give GREAT PRAISE to YOU, our loving, compassionate, and life-giving Creator-God. With YOU at the helm… of this movement to be reckoned with, we are MORE resolved than EVER to continue TAKING DOWN the giant of abortion in our land. From prayerful intercessory warfare… to boots-on-the ground strategies… WE WILL WIN for babies, mothers, fathers, and families. Yes, WE WILL WIN!
